Bride and Groom Portraits at Kindred Barn

Classic Neutral Modern Barn Summer Wedding in Mulberry, Arkansas

This will definitely be a first for me, because I am making this blog and I’ve not even finished editing the wedding yet! Oops teehee, just really excited to get these photos out into the universe! Lexi & Drew got married this summer at Kindred Barn. Easily one of my favorite venues in Northwest Arkansas. I’ll first start off with Kindred is a family owned venue, they work almost every wedding, cater it and make you feel like you’re at their home hosting a dinner night. It feels so good as a vendor to talk in and get a hug from Stacey, even if she’s only met me one other time! Kindred is such a versatile space for photos too! The getting ready space is a photographers dream, all white rooms with modern touches, plenty of natural lighting and corners to get creative in! The Grooms suite is also just as fantastic and gives guys the space to hang out, play ping pong, watch football games and not have to leave the venue for the day. The reception space is a blank canvas for any couple and has beautiful white walls, vaulted ceilings and string lights that make it feel so romantic! There’s a vineyard out in the beautiful field to take sunset portraits, their ceremony pace is also perfect underneath the canopy of trees and string lights and you can even get some fun photos in front of the old greenhouse. Check out the photos to see for yourself! Check out Kindred Barn’s availability for your wedding here.

The first time I met Lexi on our FaceTime date, I knew we were going to be friends right away! She has the bubbliest personality, constantly is always making sure everyone around her feels loved and heard and she is so passionate about everything she does, most importantly loving Drew. We had the best time shooting their engagement session in Colorado! I flew up to Denver and drove out to Estes Park for a sunrise session where we all woke up at 4 am, drank too much coffee, laughed the entire drive and ran around some of the most beautiful land I’ve ever seen. We went to brunch right after and then passed out for the car ride back while sweet Drew drove us back to Denver. I felt like they were family, it was just easy, and that’s exactly how this wedding was too!

Lexi knew she wanted a chic, neutral, classic but fun wedding. I loved that she would text me Inspo photos and add me to her wedding Pinterest boards! If you’re just as obsessed with her dress as I am, you can check out Tesori Bridal here. Her neutral bridesmaids dresses were so timeless and classy with the simple yet just the right amount of baby’s breath bouquets. She had her ceremony and reception both inside the Barn where her amazing wedding planner Raegan Joy flipped the room so quickly and beautifully! I can’t romanticize this wedding enough, but at least the photos can do it some justice.

FROM THE BRIDE:

Why did you choose your venue and what did you love about it?

Since we lived in Colorado, choosing a venue was a little trickier for us because we had to travel home to tour. I found Kindred Barn online and instantly fell in love. It was the ONLY venue we toured and from the moment we stepped inside, we both knew it was one. We never toured another venue and never second guessed our decision. It was perfect for us. Our tour was with Gabby and she had such a warm and inviting personality. What really sold us was “the weekender package” and all the in-house services they had. We were able to book the venue from Friday-Sunday, which was amazing since we were coming from Colorado. We had time to decorate on Friday, have our rehearsal dinner there, and have a huge bridal party sleepover with both sides of our friends Friday night. (10/10 recommend doing)! They had an amazing “getting ready” space and a honeymoon suite we stayed at Saturday night. Furthermore, they made the wedding experience SO easy. We booked everything from set-up, clean-up, day of coordination, dish-bussing, bartending, and catering!!!

2. What advice would you give to future couples getting married?

ENJOY every moment!!!! It goes by crazy fast so really really spam to up!

3. What was your favorite part of wedding day?

We loved having all of our family and friends gathered in one place at the same time. It’s the most surreal feeling having all of your favorite people surrounding, supporting, and loving on you. It makes you truly appreciate your friends, your family, and your person sooooo much. A good crew means a good time!!!

If you’re looking to get married at Kindred Barn, and need a wedding photographer definitely reach out and say Hey! This is certainly a place I would love to photograph over and over again.
